Risk Analyst

OverviewWe are seeking a Junior Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team.This role offers the opportunity to work closely with portfolio managers, analysts and traders to monitor and analyze risk across a diversified portfolio spanning multiple asset classes.The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to cross-asset risk management, including equities, futures, options, fixed income.ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily portfolio, market, and liquidity risk across multiple strategies and asset classesAnalyze portfolio exposures, stress tests, scenario analyses, and risk concentrationsSupport the production and enhancement of risk reporting and analyticsWork closely with investment teams to understand portfolio positioning and risk driversAssist with the development of risk tools, dashboards, and monitoring processesInvestigate unusual portfolio moves, P&L attribution, and risk exceptionsQualifications2–3 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a buy side settingStrong analytical and quantitative skillsUnderstanding of financial markets and investment productsKnowledge of derivatives (options, futures, swaps, etc.) preferredExperience with Python for data analysis, reporting, or automation preferredAdvanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentWhy JoinExposure to a broad range of investment strategies and asset classesOpportunity to work directly with portfolio managers and investment teamsStrong mentorship and career development within a growing hedge fund platformCompetitive compensation and benefits
