This role involves providing hands-on patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing prescribed treatment plans to support patient recovery. Maintain compliance with state regulations and clinical policies. Communicate effectively with therapists, patients, and healthcare staff. Attend facility meetings and ongoing professional development courses. Ensure adherence to OSHA, Medicare, and other healthcare standards. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or an equivalent international program. Licensure: Active and valid state PTA license or certification. Skills: Strong teamwork and communication abilities. Organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Basic medical terminology knowledge for documentation.
