Drop Bury Field Supervisor - START ASAP

Role Overview As a Drop & Bury Field Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and to spec. You’ll also play a key role in training and mentoring new technicians, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed in the field. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support field crews performing drop and bury installations (fiber, coax, conduit, etc.) Train, onboard, and mentor new field technicians Ensure all work is performed to company and industry standards Coordinate with locators, permitting authorities, and clients Enforce safety protocols (PPE, dig safety, equipment operation) Track daily production, materials, and crew performance Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues as they arise Conduct quality checks and ensure completion of work orders Qualifications 3+ years in drop & bury, utility, or telecom field work, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role Experience training or mentoring junior techs or crews Solid understanding of underground installation practices Comfortable reading site plans, utility locates, and permit documents Valid driver’s license Strong leadership and communication skills With a Valid Driver License Card and Social Security with clear background. Minivan, pick-up truck or SUV. DROP BURY/BORING SCOPE OF WORK Drop Bury Work: Install conduit, cable/fiber from tap or MST to customer premises. Report completed and incomplete work daily with detailed notes. Restore customer/public property to original condition. Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and adhere to all regulations, including utility notifications. Place conduit/cabling at a minimum depth of 12 inches or as specified. Install proper weatherproofing, identification tags, and security devices. Notify customers in advance, leave door tags if they are unavailable, and verify routing if present. Underground Bores: Perform boring operations and restore property post-work. Install required conduit at a minimum depth of 12 inches or as specified.
