If you are interested in more details please apply now!ResponsibilitiesSupport the CFO with daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and month-end closePrepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and alignment with nonprofit reporting standardsOversee payroll processing and related reconciliations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulationsAssist in the development, tracking, and monitoring of annual budgets and forecastsCoordinate and prepare schedules and documentation for annual audits and ensure timely responses to auditorsMaintain internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and best practicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a nonprofit organizationStrong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles (including fund accounting)Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirementsProficiency in accounting systems; MIP experience strongly preferredExcellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to partner with leadership in a fast-paced environmentBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
