Short Term Employment OpportunityJune - September 2026* $18.50/hour starting pay - Eligible for Bonuses based on hours worked** Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pmSummary of PositionThe Application Specialist, Bilingual provides outstanding customer service in Spanish and English to both internal and external customers by professionally answering calls about telephonic applications for public assistance programs.Essential Job RequirementsAnswers telephone inquiries and responds to citizen inquiries related to the services they wish to apply for or are currently receivingAccepts telephonic applications for public assistance programsScreens applicants to determine if active case exists or application is pendingUses multiple complex computer systems to research, validate, update, and maintain case informationProvides information to callers, including rights and responsibilitiesMaintains accurate files, records, and reports to document communication, compliance, and resolution of issueFluently reads, writes, and speaks Spanish and EnglishRegular and timely attendanceOther duties as assignedRequired EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience* Customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment* Data entry and typing experience. Must be able to type at least 20 WPM
