Job Title: Lab Infrastructure & Inventory EngineerLocation: [Santa Clara/Bay area]Experience: 2–5 YearsRole Overview:We are looking for a hands-on engineer to manage and maintain physical inventory across our semiconductor lab environment.This role involves working closely with lab users, IT teams, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure accurate asset tracking, basic system data collection, and smooth coordination across teams.Key Responsibilities:Perform physical inventory of lab systems, racks, and mounted serversCollect and maintain accurate asset data (hardware details, OS, usage, ownership, etc.)Identify basic security or vulnerability gaps and highlight them to relevant teamsCollaborate with engineers, lab users, and cross-functional teams for data validation and updatesSupport audits, compliance checks, and documentation effortsAssist in improving inventory tracking processes and standardizationRequired Skills:Working knowledge of Linux and Windows systemsUnderstanding of basic vulnerability concepts and system hygieneExperience working in a semiconductor lab or similar hardware-heavy environmentStrong coordination and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage physical + logical data togetherPreferred:Experience with asset management tools or CMDBExposure to lab infrastructure where servers are rack-mounted
