The Trailer Technician will be responsible for performing intermediate to complex maintenance, service and repair of J.B. Hunt trailers, containers, chassis and other equipment to help us keep our freight moving in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities:Perform advanced trailer preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on our trailer inventory, including air brake systems and FHWA inspectionsTroubleshoot and complete repairs to OEM and company standards within SRT and warranty guidelinesFollow safety procedures and complete work ordersSupport specialized equipment (e.g., refrigerated units) and escalated repairsMentor junior technicians as neededEmployee Benefits:Eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision insurance after 30 days of employmentStart earning paid time off on your first day of workPaid holiday time offCompany-matched 401(k)Access to mental health benefits, life insurance, paid parental leave and moreMinimum Qualifications:Candidates must be at least 18 years oldAt least 1 years of hands-on mechanic experience servicing semi-trailers or military equivalentA/C and DOT (FHWA inspections & air brakes) certifiedAble to supply your own basic tools or purchase through J.B.
