Process Operator III - Painter

Job DescriptionThe Process Operator III troubleshoots process problems during production. They also maintain production equipment and review data to ensure product quality.We are seeking a Painter to apply high-quality finishes in accordance with MIL-SPEC paint standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with polyurethane paints and epoxy coatings in a manufacturing or industrial production environment. This role is essential in ensuring our components meet strict industry, customer, and government requirements.ResponsibilitiesMaintain production fixtures and equipmentMaintain cleanliness of production equipment or work areaDocument all production and production lossesMaintain communication as related to process and equipmentReview data to ensure product quality during productionReport and document process issues and equipment malfunctionsApply paint finishes to components using spray equipment, following MIL-SPEC and internal quality standards. Mix, prepare, and apply polyurethane paints, epoxy coatings, and primers. Inspect surfaces and finished parts for defects, ensuring adherence to specifications.Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and process sheets.Maintain paint equipment, spray booths, and mixing areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
