Fire Alarm Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems. This role is critical to ensuring systems are compliant, fully operational, and meet all safety regulations. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and experience working in commercial environments.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systemsTroubleshoot and repair system issues, including panels, devices, and wiringProgram and configure fire alarm systems as neededEnsure compliance with NFPA codes and local regulationsComplete detailed service reports and documentationCoordinate with customers, project teams, and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction)Support system upgrades, retrofits, and small installationsMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicleQualifications:2+ years of experience with fire alarm systems (service or installation)Knowledge of NFPA 72 and fire/life safety codesExperience with major systems (e.g., EST, Notifier, Siemens, Bosch, etc.) preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordPreferred Certifications:NICET Certification (Fire Alarm Systems)Manufacturer certifications (EST, Notifier, Siemens, etc.)Work Environment & Requirements:Ability to work in commercial and construction environmentsMay require lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spacesOccasional after-hours or on-call work may be requiredWhy Join Us: Join a team committed to safety, quality, and professional growth.
