This position will perform coaching duties as assigned by the head coach; assist with administrative, community outreach, and public relations duties as assigned by the head coach. Responsibilities may include team warm-ups, scheduling, strength and conditioning, choreography, spotting, meet management, individual conferences, and all other areas associated with administering a Division I collegiate gymnastics team. This position will also assist in all facets of the process to recruit athletically and academically qualified student-athletes.Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learningAt least two years of women’s Gymnastics coaching experience at Club, Elite or Collegiate levelPreferred QualificationsExperience at a Power 5 programNCAA Division I coaching and/or student-athlete experienceExperience choreographing floor routinesSpotting experienceKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of NCAA and SEC rules and regulationsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to recruit student-athletes who will succeed academically and athleticallyAbility to foster a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growthAvailability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as necessaryCreate a Job Match for Similar JobsAbout University Of ArkansasFounded in 1871, the University of Arkansas is a land grant institution, classified by the Carnegie Foundation among the nation’s top 2 percent of universities with the highest level of research activity.
