Sterilization Technician

We are looking for a full time Sterilization Technician to join our growing team in Mishawaka! Job Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and unload steam autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaner. Keep records of loads completed & items in loads Clean instruments to prepare them for sterilization, clean and package mouth trays, and collect other departmental instruments Record sterilizer test results and stock trays Organize and assemble routine or specialty surgical instrument trays or other sterilized supplies, filling special requests as needed Disinfect and sterilize equipment and assist with sterilizing and cleaning patient rooms inbetween patient visits Perform closing duties such as filling up claves, cleaning, placing clean towels out, taking out trash, and breaking down stroller box Assists dental staff with patient care duties when needed Maintain confidentiality Assists with other duties as assigned Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Prior medical sterilization of instrumentation or housekeeping experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills and active listening skills Detail oriented and ability to adapt to ambiguity Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions and troubleshoot when necessary About Afdent MSO LLC Afdent is Northern Indiana's Premier Dental Care Provider.
