Position Type: Part-time
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
Position Overview: The Dental Sleep Medicine/TMJ Clinical Coordinator will play a key role in supporting both clinical and clerical operations within our practice. The successful candidate will be trained in some clinical assistant duties but will primarily focus on clerical tasks such as managing patient communications, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance coordination. This role is essential in ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to document all services performed and referrals ordered.
Support medical care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials.
Answer phone inquiries, respond to patient emails, and book appointments.
Welcome, comfort, and seat patients to ready them for treatment.
Provide doctor-directed therapies to help relieve pain and reduce inflammation.
Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees.
Manage medical/dental supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels and anticipating needs.
Qualifications:
Quick learner with a positive attitude
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Excellent bedside manner
Familiarity with medical technologies and diagnostic procedures
Proficiency in charting patient records in real time
Experience with EMR systems preferred
Phlebotomist certification is a plus but not required
Knowledge of medical terminology
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical or dental setting
