This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory environment while contributing to high-quality testing, data integrity, and operational excellence.The Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and reliable laboratory operations within the US Onshore Regional Laboratory. The Laboratory Technician assists with routine laboratory activities that support product quality, data integrity, and timely service delivery to internal stakeholders.Working under direct supervision, this role performs sample preparation, data entry, inventory support, and general laboratory housekeeping while following established procedures and safety standards. The Laboratory Technician contributes to continuous improvement by maintaining organized work areas, supporting QA/QC activities, and ensuring laboratory readiness.Key Responsibilities include:Support routine laboratory testing and sample preparation activities in accordance with approved proceduresAccurately document laboratory work, sample information, and results in logs, reports, and digital systemsAssist with sample handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with safety and regulatory requirementsMaintain laboratory equipment, workspaces, and inventory in clean and operational conditionSupport QA/QC activities and audits as directed by laboratory leadershipPerform risk analysis before assigned tasks to identify and mitigate safety or quality concernsParticipate in HSE and Quality initiatives and maintain required safety trainingWear appropriate PPE and comply with all HSE policies and proceduresMinimum Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent• Fewer than two years of relevant laboratory or technical experience• Interest in laboratory work and willingness to learn technical skills• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityPreferred Qualifications• Prior coursework or hands-on experience in a scientific setting (e.g., high school chemistry, technical school, or college lab classes)• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment or procedures• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint• Strong organizational and communication skills
