Position Overview
R & H Mechanical is looking for a dependable and motivated HVAC Apprentice Installer to join our growing team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to start a long-term career in the HVAC trade. You’ll work alongside experienced installers, gaining hands-on training and real-world experience installing residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
Assist lead installers with installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and ductwork
Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Learn to read blueprints and installation specifications
Maintain clean and organized job sites and company vehicles
Support team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time
Provide professional and courteous interaction with customers
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Strong interest in HVAC or skilled trades
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation to report to job sites
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude
Preferred (Not Required)
Enrollment in or completion of a trade school program
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
EPA certification (or willingness to obtain)
