To bring it all to life, we've built a team of passionate, committed individuals who bring a combination of industry-leading knowledge, unique perspectives, and cross-functional expertise.Job Description As the Doladira Market Manager, CA, you will be responsible for the in-market execution of sales and brand strategies for Doladira. This is a high-impact role for a dynamic and results-oriented individual to drive sales and build brand awareness. You will be a key player in introducing our unique aperitivo to the market, building relationships with bartenders and retailers, leading educational sessions, and executing engaging brand activations. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Sales, at the vision and direction of the Founder and President of Doladira, as well as work collaboratively with our US Commercial Team (specifically with our VP of national chains as Doladira is in 400+ chain locations in CA).We’re looking for passionate storytellers who are motivated by the opportunity to play an active role in growing a brand from the ground up. We value curiosity, creative thinking, and inclusive leadership.Core ResponsibilitiesBuild the highest quality distribution, presence, awareness, relevance and growth among target consumers and target accounts—Selling Doladira into new on-premise accounts is the main goal of this position and the measure for success in this role. Monitor and ensure achievement of sales, depletion, and activation goals, consistently meeting or exceeding established KPIs within the assigned marketLead and host tastings in retail, representing Doladira in the California market.Maximize brand growth opportunities across all market channelsDevelop and monitor KPIs for key/high image account listings (menu placements, staff trainings, account support, sales velocity, etc.)In collaboration with VP sales, develop effective relationships with local distributor salesforce and external partnersOversee key account list (On & Off premise)Train key bartenders, mixologists, and account staffIdentify key business opportunities (new accounts, partnerships, events, etc.)Identify, cultivate, educate and motivate key brand influencers; particularly bartenders, managers and owners of On and Off Premise target accounts; major event promoters; and spirits opinion-makersLead, co-develop and execute Doladira activation initiatives in marketMaintain market activation calendarQualifications and Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Los Angeles restaurant and bar trade is required2-5 years market manager, mixology, or spirits supplier representative experience ideally with experience in promoting and selling Italian aperitifs or spirits. Doladira works with BBG in the state of California.Must own and operate a reliable vehicle and possess a valid state driver’s license for daily in-market account visitsMust be available for light travel to Northern California approximately once every 6–8 weeks to support broader market initiativesAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to host consumer tastings, dinners, and brand activationsExisting, high-level relationships with key accounts and trade influencers throughout the Los Angeles areaProven track record of success in exceeding sales targets and building brand awarenessExceptional presentation and demonstration skills, able to create captivating aperitivo experiences for customersStrong familiarity with the aperitivo category and current market trends; a personal passion for or experience in Italy/the Alps is a significant plusExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with bartenders, influencers, and consumersCreativity and resourcefulness in developing unique and engaging brand experiencesStrong organizational and time management skillsEntrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approachCandidates should possess exquisite communication skills coupled with drive, determination, and the ability to work under their own initiative.Benefits & CompensationThe anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000 annually. Performance-based bonus applicable and to be discussed. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements. In general, actual salaries will fall somewhere in the middle of the range.This is a remote position based in Los Angeles, CA.
