The candidate should possess strong Oracle database administration skills along with experience supporting Java/J2EE applications on Linux/Windows platforms.Oracle DBA ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain Oracle 19c databases in production and non-production environments. Perform routine database administration activities, including: User management Tablespace management Export/import Health checks Troubleshoot database performance issues and assist in optimization activities. Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN. Monitor Oracle Data Guard environments and resolve replication issues. Support database patching, upgrades, and migration activities. Analyze Oracle alert logs, trace files, and performance reports. Resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues within defined SLAs. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem management activities. Java Application Support ResponsibilitiesProvide L2 support for Java/J2EE applications running on WebLogic, Tomcat, or JBoss. Monitor application availability, performance, and resource utilization. Troubleshoot application startup, deployment, and connectivity issues. Diagnose JDBC connection problems between applications and Oracle databases. Analyze application and server logs to identify and resolve issues. Support application deployments and release validation activities. Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and escalations. Perform basic code-level analysis using logs and stack traces. Operational ResponsibilitiesParticipate in 24x7 on-call and production support rotations. Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management. Create and maintain SOPs, Knowledge Articles, and operational documentation. Support automation and scripting initiatives using Shell, Python, or SQL scripts. Ensure compliance with organizational security and audit requirements.
