You will oversee daily store operations, drive sales and profitability, and ensure a positive customer experience while building, coaching, and developing a high-performing store team.This role is ideal for experienced retail leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments,lead withaccountability, and take ownership of results.Summary of Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations & PerformanceLead daily store operations to ensure sales goals, profitobjectives, and customer experience standards are consistently achievedMonitor sales performance andtake action to driveresults and address opportunitiesMaintain financial controls, including payroll management, shrink control, and operating expensesEnsure proper inventory controls, inventory transactions, and compliance with shrink prevention standardsUphold all Citi Trends operational policies, procedures, and standardsTeam Leadership & StaffingRecruit, interview, hire, onboard, coach, and, when necessary, counsel orterminateassociatesin accordance withcompany policies and legal guidelinesDirect and supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer serviceBuild andmaintainappropriate staffinglevels to support store operations and performanceProvide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management to develop store associatesCustomer Experience & ComplianceEnsure customers consistently receive excellent service in a safe, organized, and welcoming environmentReinforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standardsEnsure consistent execution of merchandising, operational, and visual standardsAddress customer concerns professionally and promptlyPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support store operations and business needs.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required35 years of experience as a Store Manager or equivalent retail leadership role57 years of overall retail experience preferredStrong communication, organizational, and people leadership skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekendsAbility to perform basic math calculations, including percentagesKey CompetenciesStore Leadership & AccountabilityHiring, Recruiting & Talent DevelopmentSales & Profit Performance ManagementOperational Excellence & ComplianceCustomer-Focused ExecutionTime Management & PrioritizationAdaptability in a Fast-Paced Retail EnvironmentWhy Join Citi TrendsCiti Trends isa great placeto build a fun and rewarding career in retail management.
