Vineyard Worker

Job Purpose: Folino Estate is looking for multiple Farm Hands/Vineyard Workers! We are looking to hire hard-working, self-motivated, and high-energy individuals to join our team. The Farm Hands/Vineyard Workers will ensure compliance with country standards and maintain a high level of vine health and vineyard integrity.Responsibilities:Establish vineyards, pruning, tape trunks and canes, cluster thinning, leaf pullingGreen fruit removalHelp with installation of netsHedging 2-3 times a yearLateral removal 1-2 times a yearEstimate crop loadHarvest grapesPhysical Requirements and Skills:Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, with extended standing/walking.Capable of lifting materials and/or product up to 50 pounds or more.Able to work in varying weather conditionsGreat time-management skills with the ability to multi-task.Great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across a multi-company organization.Sense of ownership and pride in personal performance and its impact on the success of Folino Estate.The ability to encourage co-workers to adhere to the standards of Folino Estate.Required Qualifications:Vineyard or farm hand experience.Solid track record of success in previous assignments demonstrating upward career tracking.Strong communication skills, bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.Must be dependable, reliable, and self-motivated.Benefits:Employee discounts on food, wine and merchandisePTO and Wellness Time
