#25-26-86 Secretary to Assistant Principal
DEFINITION: Under direct supervision of a site administrator, performs secretarial, clerical, and payroll-related duties; relieving the supervisor of administrative detail and other clerical duties as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Minimum of three years of school secretarial, and clerical experience. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of: Modern office methods and practices, filing systems, receptionist and telephone techniques; good grammar, spelling, and punctuation; bookkeeping and accounting knowledge preferable in some positions; standard office machines. Ability to: Type accurately with speed of 60 to 80 wpm; take dictation at a minimum of 100 wpm and transcribe accurately; pleasant voice and manner, neat appearance; dependability and initiative.
