Youll work closely with specialists and families to ensure that each childs individualized needs are supported.Key Responsibilities:Deliver developmentally appropriate, differentiated instruction across core subject areasSupport foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and executive functioning skillsCreate a classroom environment that promotes predictability, safety, and connectionImplement visual supports, sensory strategies, and structured routinesLead the IEP process, including goal development, progress monitoring, and meetingsCollaborate closely with aides, therapists, and familiesCelebrate student progress and encourage self-expression and confidenceWhat You BringA valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate Support Needs or Moderate/Severe), or eligibility for intern statusExperience teaching neurodivergent students, particularly those with autismA playful, warm, and grounded presence that supports regulation and connectionSkill in differentiated instruction, behavior supports, and visual teaching strategiesExcellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsReady to Apply?If you're ready to join a creative, compassionate school where students are deeply understood and staff are supported to grow, wed love to hear from you.
