ELK Stack Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension or conversion based on performance)

Description: Can be fully remote. Preference to have candidate local to Alpharetta, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, or California MS offices.

Qualifications: 7+ years of experience of the ELK Stack: Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana. Good to have Ruby and/or Python, GIT and ETL Knowledge Candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and supporting Elasticsearch cluster.
• Creating cluster from the scratch
• Decommissioning and Recommissioning servers
• Analyzing, troubleshooting the issues with the clusters.
• Working with the Elastic Stack.
• Evaluating existing Elastic clusters, configuration parameters, indexing, security and administration.
• Maintaining appropriate infrastructure to maintain performance and data integrity.
• Keeping Elasticsearch clusters upgraded.
• Following the best practices
• Ensuring appropriate monitoring & alerting of Elasticsearch
• Understanding of Networking to support the network related pipelines
