ELK Stack Engineer

Job Title: ELK EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration: 12 Months (Possible extension or conversion based on performance)Description:Can be fully remote. Preference to have candidate local to Alpharetta, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, or California MS offices.Qualifications7+ years of experience of the ELK Stack: ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana. Good to have Ruby and/or Python, GIT and ETL Knowledge Candidate will be responsible for:Maintaining and supporting Elasticsearch cluster.Creating cluster from the scratchDecommissioning and Recommissioning serversAnalyzing , troubleshooting the issues with the clusters.Working with the Elastic Stack.Evaluating existing Elastic clusters, configuration parameters, indexing, security and administration.Maintaining appropriate infrastructure to maintain performance and data integrity.Keeping Elasticsearch clusters upgraded.Following the best practicesEnsuring appropriate monitoring & alerting of ElasticsearchUnderstanding of Networking to support the network related pipelinesSoft SkillsGood verbal and written communication skills.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Good team player.Good interpersonal skills.
