Someone who can walk a job site in the morning, approve a bid package in the afternoon, and develop a superintendent into a future leader by end of week.Apply promptly! A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.If you've scaled a civil construction operation, built systems that outlast you, and earned the respect of field crews through presence and follow-through — we want to talk.What You'll OwnDay-to-day operations across civil construction crews, a hydrovac/industrial services fleet (~13 units), and multiple concurrent projectsField leadership for 50–60 personnel — crews, site supervisors, and project managersBid review and go/no-go feasibility decisionsSafety culture, compliance, and operational trainingKPI development and financial visibility in partnership with the President and finance teamLeadership development — building the bench beneath youThis role reports directly to the President and is a key driver of the company's next growth phase.RequirementsYou're the Right Fit If You Have10+ years in civil construction or infrastructure (underground utilities, excavation, site prep)5+ years in a senior operations leadership role with direct field team accountabilityExperience managing 40+ field personnel and multiple concurrent projectsComfort reviewing bids, approving estimates, and owning project feasibilityOSHA 30 or higher; hands-on field safety leadershipThe ability and willingness to be on-site in Platteville, CO (relocation support available for the right candidate)Hydrovac or industrial services experience is a strong plus.
