Foundry are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected Commercial General Contractor to recruit an Assistant Project Manager for their growing Miami team.Our client has built an outstanding reputation throughout South Florida for delivering high-quality commercial, industrial and multifamily construction projects. With a substantial pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Project Manager who is eager to develop their career with a well-established and rapidly expanding General Contractor.This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that genuinely promotes from within, offers exposure to large-scale ground-up construction projects and provides a clear pathway into Project Management.The RoleWorking alongside experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, you will assist in the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through to completion.Responsibilities include:Assist with the day-to-day management of ground-up commercial construction projects.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project schedules.Review drawings, specifications and contract documents.Assist with RFIs, submittals and change orders.Support procurement of subcontractors and materials.Monitor project costs and budgets.Attend site meetings and coordinate with field teams.Liaise with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors.Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.Requirements2+ years' experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer with a Commercial General Contractor.Experience working on ground-up commercial construction projects is essential.Commercial, industrial, office, tilt-wall or multifamily construction experience preferred.Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is preferred.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience with Procore, Bluebeam or similar construction software is advantageous.Stable employment history.Spanish language skills are beneficial but not essential.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary.Annual performance bonus.Vehicle allowance.Medical, dental and vision insurance.401(k).Generous paid time off.Excellent career progression opportunities.Ongoing training and professional development.Opportunity to work on exciting, large-scale commercial construction projects throughout South Florida.If you're an ambitious Assistant Project Manager looking to take the next step in your construction career with one of South Florida's growing Commercial General Contractors, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.Apply today or contact Foundry for more information
