Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Non-DOT Cement Heavy Haul performs hot shot pick-ups, transports cement personnel to and from job locations, and performs housekeeping maintenance on vehicles or equipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform hot shot pick upsTransport cement personnel to and from job locationsPerform housekeeping maintenance on all vehicles and equipmentSafely drives company vehicles to and from location in all weather conditions and on varying road surfacesMaintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Other duties as assignedQualificationsMaintaining a current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, requiredClear written and spoken communication skills, must be able to read and follow directions in EnglishMust have strong mechanical knowledgePersonable, able to interact effectively with team and personnel at all levels of the organizationMust be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shiftMust be physically able to lift 50 lbs. overhead without assistanceMust be physically able to withstand all weather conditions including extreme heat and coldPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the role’s essential functions.
