Job PostingBoar's Head Provisions Co., Inc. is hiring for a role responsible for packaging productions in appropriate bags with correct sell-by dates, ensuring efficiency and profitability while operating machinery safely.ResponsibilitiesPerform tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.Work safely and ensure product specifications are met.Perform job assignments cost-consciously.Satisfy internal and external customer requirements.Be on time each workday at the workstation.Work as a team player and communicate with other department members.Be flexible with various job assignments and working conditions.Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, plant rules, and policies.Pick up 16 pounds repetitively.Install, remove, clean, and re-tape seal bars.Straighten and align each bag on the seal bar.Keep pace with the line.Adjust line speed for various products.Lubricate the 8600 machine.Start and stop the 8600 machine.Participate in set-up and tear-down/put-away.Report equipment problems to the supervisor or lead person.Monitor correct and legible sell-by dated product.QualificationsLess than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Location: Petersburg, VATime Type: Full timeDepartment: Packaging 3rd Shift
