Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoOversee the operations of the truck scales; daily use as well as certifications, maintenance, and repairs, this includes the radiation detectors and cameras.Manage Industrial Truck Scale inbound and outbound operations to meet demands of the facilityDiagnose problems with the scales and assist in their repairMonitor and arrange calibration of scalesMonitors Radiation Detection equipmentPerform radiation detection system checks according to environmental department requirementsMaintain a clean and safe work area, inside the scale house and around the scalesTroubleshoot work-related problems using job knowledge, experience, and communication with othersEffectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needsWork safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPEParticipate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety CultureWhat You'll NeedAbility to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skillsDependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needsSome overtime will be requiredMust be willing to work weekends and nights as required based on production needsBasic computer skillsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsYour EducationHigh School Diploma or GED preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
