Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in the off-highway, agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical components, LV/HV systems, electrical architecture, schematics, supplier DVP analysis, and component development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems and architectures for off-highway and mobile equipment.Develop and analyze electrical schematics using Capital.Work with low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) automotive/equipment electrical systems.Perform gap analysis of supplier DVPs against customer specifications.Conduct risk assessments and prepare DVPR summaries.Create and maintain component lists, including part numbers (PNs), component strategies, and maintenance requirements.Create electrical specifications, design-quality documentation, and component roadmaps.Release electrical component drawings in accordance with customer drawing requirements.Maintain project updates and documentation in Polarion, with updates at least weekly.Support Quality Notification (QN) projects by working with platform teams to identify root causes and solutions for component failures in the field.Support Capital tool enhancements and electrical schematic analysis.Collaborate with suppliers, customers, platform teams, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely project execution.Required QualificationsExperience working in the off-highway domain is required.Strong knowledge of electrical components and LV/HV systems.Experience with electrical architecture and schematic development.Hands-on experience with Capital or similar electrical design/schematic tools.Experience with DVP/DVPR, gap analysis, risk assessment, and validation documentation.Experience managing electrical component data, part numbers, specifications, and design documentation.Strong understanding of engineering drawings and customer drawing requirements.Experience working with Polarion or similar requirements/project management tools is preferred.Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
