Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.RECRUITING COORDINATOR- TEMPORARY POSITIONAs a recruiting coordinator at SpaceX, your primary responsibility is to schedule all candidate onsite interviews, as well as making sure that candidates have a great experience and a successful interview day. You will also support your recruiting team, which may include but is not limited to greeting and touring candidates, and assisting with administrative tasks throughout the hiring process. Recruiting coordinators are integral members of the recruiting team as we bring top talent to SpaceX.ResponsibilitiesSchedule onsite interviewsCoordinate candidate travelHost candidates and manage day-of onsite interview logisticsLearn about our business to the extent that you can speak intelligently about our programs with candidates and client groupsEnsure that all candidates have a positive experience while interviewing with SpaceXAssist the talent operations team with special projects as neededPosition DetailsThis is a temporary position with SpaceX, for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate.LENGTH OF POSITION: 6 months (permanent hire conversion based on performance and business need)LOCATION: Bastrop, TX (requires being onsite - remote work not considered)SHIFT: standard business hoursBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityPrevious experience in a professional setting within recruiting, human resources, marketing, sales, or technologyPreferred Skills And ExperienceMinimum GPA of 3.06+ months of professional experience in human resources, marketing, sales, or technology (internship experience is applicable)Experience as a recruiting coordinatorExperience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking systemProficiency with MS Outlook and Microsoft Office toolsBasic knowledge of personnel policy and procedure in accordance with federal and state laws regarding employment practicesAbility to manage multiple ongoing projects, be flexible to change, and adapt to shifting prioritiesTeam player with a high sense of urgencySelf-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong passion to contribute to the team’s successAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretionAbility to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management, on a 1:1 basis and in groupsCapacity to learn and speak intelligently about our business and the space industryExcellent written and oral communication skills.Additional RequirementsWilling to work overtime as neededAbility to work 100% onsite in Bastrop,TX – remote or hybrid work will not be consideredItar RequirementsTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
