Bookkeeper (CPA Firm Experience Preferred)
OVERVIEWWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with prior experience in a CPA firm environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced setting, enjoys working with multiple clients and takes pride in producing accurate and timely financial records. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES· Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple clients· Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations· Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules· Collaborate with CPAs on client deliverables and tax preparation· Clean up and organize historical accounting records as needed· Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies· Prepare annual and quarterly payroll reports· Prepare annual 1099s/1096s· Prepare Property Rendition forms QUALIFICATIONS· 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting· Proficient in QuickBooks Online/Desktop· Experience managing multiple client or entities simultaneously· High attention to detail and strong organizational skills· Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively· Excellent communication skills and client service skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Experience supporting tax preparation or working directly with CPAs· Familiarity with payroll processing and sales tax filings WHAT WE OFFER· Competitive compensation based on experience· Semi-flexible work environment· Supportive and collaborative team culture
