Job SummaryAretum is seeking a talented and motivated .NET Developer to join our team. As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and systems for our clients.Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain complex software applications using the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, etc.)Work cross-functionally in an Agile environment to develop applications using .NET architectureDevelop clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standardsParticipate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, design, testing, and deploymentMust be flexible, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, juggle multiple tasks at once, and work independently and collaboratively as neededMust have superior interpersonal skills and strong communication skills Active Top Secret Clearance5+ years of Software development experience5+ years of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET core development experience3+ years of RESTful web services experienceBachelor's Degree (3 years of additional experience acceptable in lieu of degree)Active CompTIA Security+ certification or higherExperience with .NET FrameworkExperience with Visual Studio Professional, Visual Studio Code, and GitExperience implementing application security hardening techniques and adhering to DoW secure coding standards to mitigate common vulnerabilities and ensure software resilienceHands-on experience with GitLab or Bitbucket for maintaining code integrity and integrating version control with automated CI/CD pipelinesExperience building and maintaining RESTful services and WCFContainerization experience on Windows servers with Docker and Kubernetes Solid knowledge of Scrum Agile development methodologyStrong collaboration and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with AWS GovCloud in IL4/IL5 environmentsExperience Typescript, JavaScript, Angular v16 or higherExperience with MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle Travel RequirementsThis is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions.
