Commerical HVAC/R and Cooking Equipment Technician

Overview: We are seeking highly skilled and experienced HVAC + Refrigeration and Cooking Equipment Technicians to join our team. As an essential part of our maintenance and repair team, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our commercial HVAC/R systems along with Commercial Cooking Equipment for our customers. Seeking all types of individuals including those with prior Military experience and current known U.S Veterans! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge, air conditioning, refrigeration as well as be savvy with electrical. Responsibilities: - Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, HVAC, and ware-washing equipment. - Communicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatcher and sales. - Participate in a rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call schedule. -Meet all on-call requirements. - Ability to work overtime, beyond regular service hours to complete all work required. - Install, service, and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment. - Maintain a company service vehicle, tools and uniforms as a representative of Samco. -Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on vehicle. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion on projects. - Generate estimates and complete required paperwork. - Work with different manufacturers to provide quality feedback and proper resolutions for customers. - Attend training sessions to stay up to date with company standards - company provided. - Stay up to date with the latest industry developments and technologies. - Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required. -Demonstrate the ability to climb a ladder to a minimum of 30 feet and lift 75 pounds unassisted to a height of at least 3 feet above floor level. - Complete all other duties as assigned. Experience: - High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associates degree preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Cooking Equipment repair. - Prior Restaurant Experience is a Plus! Qualifications: -EPA Universal Required for HVAC/R Technicians -2-year minimum experience in HVAC/R or Cooking Equipment Maintenance. - Updated Driver's License and Clean driving record. -Reliable, Friendly and ready to work!
