Job SummaryEssential Duties and Responsibilities:The Manager of Transitional Living Program is primarily responsible for supporting the Transitional Living Program team through the creation and delivery of services. The team will serve individuals, aged 16-24, who have experienced homelessness. These individuals served via this program may also have had some involvement with the criminal justice system, and/or aged out of the foster care system and are in need of support(s) to live successfully in the community. This program will provide housing options in Tiny Home Community as well as two apartments on campus. Wrap around services with a focus on progression to sustainable independent living.ResponsibilitiesLeadershipWork in collaboration with the TLP team to build strategic plans for mission delivery, meeting client and community needs and program growth.Establish a healthy, pro-active, team environment where mutual respect is expected, and accountability exists.Ensure services are supported by research. Program OversightProvides support and collaborative assistance to the team and assists with program development and sustainability.Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with all community partners.Work closely with internal partners to coordinate housing placement for clients.Monitor reporting databases, resident files/documents for compliance, and record-keeping requirements ensuring that necessary documentation is obtained and updated as needed. Implements and monitors any corrective action required as a result of identified deficiencies.Establishes plan for on site services including daily living skills, independent living skills, communication skills, activities and events. Program DevelopmentCoordinates with IL Services Director for ongoing services Performs ongoing checks of residence to ensure cleanliness per rental agreement. First point of contact for all residence in TLP.Performs quality assurance checks/calls monthly to ensure quality of services.Provides one on one orientation with residents in conjunction and support of the IL Services Director, trains on daily living skills, provides life skill events and trainings, identifies areas of need and provides solutions.Manages all rent payment requests, late payment issues, etc. Addresses violations of rental agreement in partnership with youth’s advocate. Helps to implement and ensure use of valid and effective outcomes measurement tools best practice models such as Housing First, Harm Reduction, Trauma Informed Care, performance and quality improvement plans.Works closely with Association partners in order to promote positive relationships, Collaboration and achievement of common goals. Examples include, but are not limited to, Homeless Alliance, PACT teams, ODMHSAS, Sisu, United Way of Central Oklahoma, and community mental health centers, etc.. Represents and promotes the organization, its policies, mandates, visions and initiatives, both internally and within the Community, on various Boards and Committees including any business meetings, social events, or educational conferences.Act as first point of contact for client and staff.
