SummarySupports the Human Resources department for The New Day Healthcare company, Heritage Healthcare Services in New Mexico as needed by maintaining personnel files, performing background checks, data entry, verifications of employment, reference checks, filing for active and terminated employees, assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees, policy communications, mailings, training assistance and special projects as needed.Status: Full Time, On Site, M-F, 8-5ResponsibilitiesRepresents the HR department in a courteous and professional mannerMonthly audits, Verification of Employment, Applicant Reference ChecksPolicy CommunicationData entry of employee requirementsFiling HR related documents as directed by leadershipMaintains supplies for HR department as assignedAssists with maintenance of personnel and applicant files in accordance with New Day HealthCare record keeping standards as directedAssist with processing requirement reports and employee document mailingsAssist Operations department as neededAssist with order placement & supply processing & manuals as directedProvides assistance with HR projects as directedProvides all support to the HR department as directed by HR ManagementPerforms other related/administrative duties as directed by ManagementRequirementsMust be eighteen (18) years of age or older (per state guidelines)Bilingual skills are a plus, but not requiredBachelor's Degree (preferred Human Resources)Must live in Albuquerque,Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment.Must exhibit a high degree of attention to detail and time management with proven ability to meet deadlines.Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.Work Environment of Human Resource Coordinator:* Fast-paced and occasionally stressful work environment with tight deadlines.
