CNC Operator - 2nd ShiftEureka, Missouri, United StatesPrimary Responsibility:Sets up and operates CNC Lathe machines/inspects parts per drawingDuties and Responsibilities:Sets up machine set up tooling install/machine soft jaws as requiredDownloads program via computer.Make offsets to maintain part dimension tolerance. Responsible for ensuring each part is made within designated specifications.Inspects parts using precision measuring instruments micrometers calipers depth micrometers bore gages plug gages.Operates hoist / automatic band saw - Saw parts to required specification as required.Follows all Safety instructions and practices.Follows work instructions in place.Minimum QualificationsKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesGood mechanical skills.Basic machine shop practicesAbility to use precision measuring instruments.Ability to follow instructions.Basic math skills.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.Trade School or previous machine shop experience preferredPhysical requirementsAble to lift 35 lbs. on occasionStand for extended periods - 2 hour periodsSome overtime requiredMaxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
