Accrued time is available for immediate use; prorated first yearPositionThe Trimmer II uses hand tools or hand-held power tools to cut and trim a variety of manufactured composite parts.This level is for an experienced individual, semi-skilled worker who operates machines, factory-related processing equipment, or vehicles. Has acquired skills from training and work experience, has limited autonomy, and works under moderate supervision.ResponsibilitiesTrim, deburr and seal fabricated components using pneumatic power tools.Sign off on all work performed, reporting all production discrepancies and schedule concerns to supervisor.Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment or supplies; promoting safety in the workplace.Required QualificationsAbility to read and understand detailed instructions.Excellent eye and hand coordination.Skilled in the use of pneumatic router and drills motors.Ability to utilize measuring equipment, including scales and calipers.Excellent interpersonal skills.Basic math skills.Preferred QualificationsAerospace experience2-3 years' experience with handheld power toolsBonding and sealant experience.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.Composite training preferred.ExperienceTwo years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.Composite manufacturing experience preferred.Experience in aerospace industry preferred.Computer SkillsBasic computer skillsWorking ConditionsUsually work indoors.
