In this role, you’ll guide a hardworking crew, support a clean and safe galley environment, and play a key part in creating a positive experience for everyone who comes through our doors.Supervise a team of 10–15 Mess Attendants, providing daily direction, support, and accountability.Lead and facilitate Mess Attendant Supervisor meetings to communicate expectations, updates, and performance standards. Follow all guidelines and procedures as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Develop and maintain cleaning schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.Oversee and verify all temperature logs, sanitation logs, and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.Conduct control inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and operational requirements.Serve as the lead supervisor during morning shifts and weekends, acting as the point of contact when the Senior Supervisor is unavailable.Provide hands‑on support to the team, including dishwashing, sanitizing cookware, and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas.Support front‑of‑house operations, including dining area resets, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness across all zones.Assist with inventory checks, supply distribution, and coordination with kitchen staff.Ensure proper use of PPE, identify safety concerns, and report issues to the Project Manager.Maintain a safe working environment by following all sanitation, safety, and food‑handling procedures. What You’ll Need To Be SuccessfulMinimum of 5 years of experience in food service, custodial, galley, or high‑volume dining operations.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or team-support role.Experience conducting walk-throughs, quality checks, or compliance inspections in a food service or custodial environment.Knowledge of safety protocols, PPE requirements, and hazard identification in a food service or custodial environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Valid RealID.Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
