Manufacturing Engineer - Contract Manufacturing

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our contract manufacturing client in San Jose. The Manufacturing Engineer will support production floor activities, drive new product introduction (NPI), and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance.ResponsibilitiesSupport manufacturing operations from pilot through mass production; troubleshoot issues on the floorPartner with Program Managers and interface with customers to meet product requirementsDevelop DfA/DfM analyses and recommend design improvementsReview and support NPI processes (MPI, tooling, SAP, etc.)Improve manufacturing processes, productivity, and yield through data analysis and root cause actionsLead Lean initiatives including value stream mapping, TAKT time studies, and DOEDevelop process documentation, control plans, and PFMEAMentor technicians and support global manufacturing sites as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience in contract manufacturing (PCBA/mechanical assemblies)Experience with product documentation, CAM tools (e.g., Valor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and Lean/ISO environmentsStrong problem-solving, communication, and project management skillsProficient in MRP systems and Microsoft Officestarting at $105K#D800 Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
