Newport Beach, CA (Near John Wayne Airport / MacArthur Blvd / Jamboree / 73 Freeway)About the OpportunityWe are seeking a reliable, ambitious, and tech-savvy Summer Accounting & Administrative Intern to support our small CPA office over the summer. This position is ideal for a late high school or early college student interested in accounting, tax, business, or office operations who wants meaningful real-world experience early in their career.This internship is designed to help students stand apart while still in school by gaining hands-on experience in a professional accounting office. Previous interns have gone on to work at Big 4 accounting firms and other professional finance roles.Depending on your school’s requirements and filing deadlines, this opportunity may also satisfy college internship program requirements.For interns who perform well, there may be an opportunity for a continued flexible part-time position after the summer. Previous employees successfully balanced this role while attending college full-time. Continued employment may also provide qualifying experience toward CPA work experience requirements.We are looking for hardworking and motivated students who are eager to learn and take initiative. Strong academic performance, leadership involvement, and extracurricular participation are all valued.
