As an intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world applications used across EUROCONTROL Member States.About the ProjectsDEMETER: A web application built on a micro-services architecture using Spring Boot (backend) and Angular (frontend). DEMETER supports ground engineering teams in defining optimal take-off, landing, and navigation routes, enabling:Performance-based navigationOptimization of navigation infrastructureImproved decision-making for flight operationsGRITA: A specialized web application, also based on Spring Boot and Angular, designed to support the planning, coordination, and execution of GNSS interference testing. GRIT helps:Harmonize procedures across EUROCONTROL Member StatesStandardize and streamline interference testingMinimize the impact of GNSS interference on aviation safetyWhat You Will Do:Contribute to backend development using Object-Oriented Programming (Java/.NET)Build and enhance frontend features with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptWork within a modern micro-services architectureParticipate in agile meetings and collaborate in a cross-functional teamWhat Do We Need In Our Team?Required Knowledge:Object-Oriented Programming (Java or.NET)Web programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Agile methodologiesValuable Knowledge (Nice to Have):Experience with AngularBasic understanding of C++What Do We Offer?Hybrid working model and 4 weeks per year of teleworking outside your usual geographical area.Flexible start and finish times, and intensive working hours Fridays.Personalized career plan development, training and language learning support.National and international mobility.
