Join our dynamic IT team at Axpo US and contribute to critical projects that support our trading and risk management systems. This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments and develop solutions that have a real impact on the business.What you will do:Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions tailored to Axpo’s evolving business needs.Support and extend the Beacon ETRM subsystems, including invoicing, market data analytics, and risk monitoring tools.Manage interfaces with 3rd party systems, such as automated feeds from exchanges and regulatory reporting systems.Collaborate with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams to ensure smooth operation and integration of technology.Conduct unit tests, support deal life-cycling, and perform reconciliation processes to ensure system data integrity.What you bring & who you are:Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.Experience with Python; familiarity with other modern OOP languages is a plus.Understanding of US energy markets is beneficial but not required.Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between Traders, Quants, and Tech teams.Analytical mindset with a focus on innovative, solution-driven problem-solving.About the team:You’ll be part of a collaborative IT team that works closely with various departments across Axpo US and our Swiss headquarters.
