For the 2025-2026 school year, the amount for this position is $8,128 and will be prorated from July 1, 2025.)QualificationsHigh School Diploma.Minimum of two (2) years of successful work experience in a public school system or in the area of personnel. Performance Responsibilities (1) Perform tasks related to the internal processing of noninstructional personnel. (2) Serve as advisor to principals and department heads on personnel processing issues. (3) Prepare and post noninstructional vacancies consistent with the assigned allocation. (4) Identify the status of new employees for the noninstructional new hire process as it relates to pre-employment and the processing of paperwork. (5) Process noninstructional employee appointments, reclassifications, transfers, promotions, leave requests, and resignations. (6) Conduct new hire employment meetings. (7) Prepare and/or maintain statistical information necessary to complete various local, state, and federal reports. (8) Track and ensure that employees maintain current licensures for their positions to include LPN, RN, ServSafe, CPR etc. (9) Track noninstructional personnel who are paid from Federal grants.(10) Track highly qualified status of paraprofessionals for auditing purposes.(11) Submit the master drug list to the third-party vendor for random drug testing and track the results. Report positive outcomes to the Director of Transportation.(12) Maintain employee records in compliance with State Statutes and School Board regulations.(13) Process paperwork pertaining to retirement, final salary certification, and pay-outs of noninstructional personnel.(14) Assist in the computation of salaries and supplements for noninstructional personnel.(15) Assist with the review of outside experience for pay purposes and ensure accurate application thereof.(16) Input all changes in the system for paycheck processing.(17) Process all paid holiday and vacation requests for eligible district employees.(18) Update and maintain all job descriptions.(19) Assist in the preparation of the Department budget(20) Review the monthly budget analysis and make appropriate modifications as necessary.(21) Prepare all purchase orders and track payment of purchase orders accordingly.(22) Use effective, positive interpersonal communication skills.(23) Uphold the best interest of students, staff, and community in support of the District's Mission Statement.(24) Perform other incidental tasks consistent with goals and objectives of this position.Physical RequirementsLight Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.FingerprintsEmployment is contingent on your fingerprints being cleared by the clearinghouse.https://info.flclearinghouse.comVETERANS' PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO ELIGIBLE VETERANS AND SPOUSES IN COMPLIANCE WITH FLORIDA AND FEDERAL APPLICABLE LAWS.
