NurseThe Nurse is an onsite medical practitioner for the programs at MCHS Family of Services. Providing preventive medical and health services; develops, coordinates, and implements medical care plans; identifies problems and provides care or referrals; coordinates the implementation and administration of medical services.Responsibilities include:Ensuring proper care and medical treatment of all clients in the agency's care.Ensuring proper administration of youth resident medications, immunizations, and MCIR compliance.Maintaining accurate, detailed medical reports and records for all children in agency care, both residential and community programs.Working as a medical liaison with community agencies to ensure that medical needs are met for all youth in MCHS community programs.Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests and lab work for medication assessments and physicals and coordinating and overseeing all prescription medication for youth in agency care.Training agency staff on medical policies and procedures, CPR, First Aid, and medication.Excited team member, ready to join a fun clinical staff in a growing agency!Education and experience:B.S.N. (Bachelors of Science in Nursing) or Registered Nurse with a minimum of five (5) years' experience working with children and adolescents.Qualified to practice as a Professional Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan and hold an unrestricted license.National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) passed.Certified in AED/CPR and First Aid.MCHS offers a generous compensation package which includes medical and dental benefits, generous PTO plan, 401k with match and more.
