To discover how Camfil helps to protect people, processes and the environment, visit us at www.camfil.com.SUMMARY:Reporting directly to the Research & Development HVAC Laboratory Supervisor, the R&D HVAC Laboratory Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment related to the HVAC laboratory.HOURS: The first 3 months of training work hours will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.After 3 months the work hours will be 4:00 PM-12:30 AMESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:Conduct testing of Camfil, competitor, and prototype filters as per the established testing protocols and relevant test standards.Maintain, clean, and repair all HVAC laboratory equipment and assets.Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment.Assist in report generation and scheduling utilizing tools such as the Report Generator and Wrike.Demonstrate knowledge of Camfil's HVAC products and relevant HVAC test standards (ISO 16890, ASHRAE 52.2).Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Manufacturing, laboratory or related work experience is a plus.Good communicator with the ability to express technical concepts in speech and writing (English).Team player, goal oriented with an optimistic outlook and attitude.Exceptional work ethic, highly motivated.Good computer skills including: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments.
