By focusing on diverse and underrepresentedpopulations, we maintain the highest standards of Good Clinical Practice and deliver reliable, meaningful outcomes. The RoleWe’re looking for a seasoned, hands-on technologist to take full ownership of our data andsystems infrastructure. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be doing the work directly —architecting, building, maintaining, and improving the systems that power our clinical operations. You’ll be someone who can operate independently, take a project from concept to completion, and keep multiple initiatives moving at once in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. You’re equally comfortable making strong technical decisions and communicating clearly withnon-technical stakeholders. Just as important, you’re someone who is genuinely curious andwilling to learn the specific tools, platforms, and workflows we use — diving in, getting up tospeed quickly, and continuously improving how things work.Critically, we’re not looking for someone who needs a requirements doc handed to them. In alarger organization, analysts write the specs and developers build them — we’re too nimble forthat split. You’ll go directly to the source: sitting with clinical teams, operations, and sponsors tounderstand what they actually need, and then building it yourself. That ability to bridge analysisand development in one person is central to this role. What You’ll DoSystems & Architecture• Design, build, and scale robust systems and data infrastructure that support clinicaloperations and organizational growth• Define and enforce data architecture standards, ensuring consistency, reliability, andintegrity across all platforms• Identify gaps in current systems and proactively architect scalable, maintainablesolutions• Design and manage third-party API integrations connecting internal platforms withexternal tools and services, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization• Manage sandbox environments, deployments, and release cycles to support safe, structured development practicesTechnical Development• Write clean, production-quality code and personally execute development work acrossprojects• Build and manage automations and workflow tools to streamline operations and reducemanual effort• Create and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards that give leadership clearvisibility into performance, outcomes, and areas for improvement• Navigate and manage Salesforce system configuration, including permissions, profiles, roles, and org-wide settings• Perform hands-on object and data management in Salesforce: creating and maintainingcustom objects, fields, relationships, page layouts, and record types as needed• Drive requirements gathering directly with end users and stakeholders, then translatethose needs into clean, maintainable technical solutions• Establish and maintain clear documentation of systems, configurations, data models, and workflows• Implement and uphold best practices for data security, access controls, and complianceOwnership & Project Management• Own the full project lifecycle — scope, plan, prioritize, execute, and deliver acrossmultiple concurrent initiatives• Navigate competing priorities and shifting demands with composure and clear decision-making• Hold yourself accountable to timelines and quality standards, and bring the same rigor toeverything you ship• Bring structure, best practices, and a forward-thinking approach that sets a strongfoundation as the organization growsStakeholder Communication• Act as the primary technical point of contact for leadership, operations, clinical, andexternal partners• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language for non-technicalstakeholders• Proactively communicate project status, risks, and trade-offs at the right level of detail foreach audience• Partner cross-functionally to gather requirements and ensure technology decisions alignwith organizational goalsWhat We’re Looking ForRequiredWe prioritize soft skills over specific technical expertise. Platforms and tools can be learned —but ownership, drive, and the instinct to operate independently cannot. We’re looking for thosequalities first.• Self-sufficient and ownership-oriented — you identify problems, propose solutions, andfollow through without being asked• A natural leader with demonstrated ability to influence, guide, and align stakeholdersacross different functions and levels• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your message for technical andnon-technical audiences alike• Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving,changing environment• Able to gather your own requirements — you don’t need a spec handed to you. You’ll godirectly to stakeholders, understand what they need, and translate it into a solutionyourself• 5+ years of experience in technical roles spanning software development, systemsarchitecture, and/or data engineering• Proven track record of building and managing complex systems end-to-end, includingAPIs, integrations, automations, and data infrastructure• Strong foundation in data architecture, data modeling, and maintaining data integrityacross platforms and systems• Hands-on developer background — comfortable writing and reviewing code, debugging, working across developer and sandbox environments, and making pragmatic technicaldecisions• Actively leverages AI tools and modern development workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and deliver higher-quality output• Experience working in structured developer environments including version control,sandbox/staging environments, and deployment pipelinesNice to Have• Experience in clinical research, healthcare, or life sciences• Experience with CRM platforms — specifically Salesforce, including configuration, custom development, and administration• Familiarity with RingCentral, Twilio, or telephony/CTI integrations in Salesforce• Familiarity with Zapier and Make.comWhat We Offer• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits• Direct access to leadership and a real seat at the table in shaping our technologystrategy• Meaningful work at a mission-driven organization advancing clinical research forunderrepresented communitiesTo ApplyPlease send your resume and a brief note about your relevant experience to.
