(www.azliquor.gov)Position Summary: The Food Runner, is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately, acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assist the wait staff with table setting by gathering and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.Monitors food order ticket times.Communicates between kitchen and servers.Ensures quality and consistency of food before delivering to guests.Delivers food to customers accurately and rapidly.Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature).Remove dirty dishes and utensils.Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items.Inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check).Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Performs other related duties as assigned.
