Offices of PhysiciansHome Health Care ServicesOutpatient Care CentersSpecialty (except Psychiatric and Substance Abuse) HospitalsGeneral Medical and Surgical HospitalsRemoteWe're looking for motivated, patient‐focused professionals to join our team asCall Center Patient Service Representatives .A Day in the Life of a Call Center Patient Service Representative may look like this:Provides initial customer service to all Patient Navigation Center contacts for multiple Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) service linesPerforms insurance verification or sliding fee program screenings for patients in accordance with LSCC guidelinesAssesses patient requests and implied needs, using probing and clarifying questionsAssists patients with scheduling, confirmations, cancellations and rescheduling of appointmentsWe ask our Call Center Patient Service Representatives to possess a minimum of:High school diploma or GED preferred; additional work experience may be substituted in lieu of educationMinimum of one (1) year of customer service experienceExcellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs efficientlyThe following experience/skills are preferred:Six (6) months prior medical office or healthcare setting experienceMinimum three (3) months call center experienceBilingual English/Spanish language and writing skillsKey Success FactorsSome key factors that will make an individual successful in this role:Strong communication skills and a positive, team‐oriented attitudeAbility to work independently in a remote settingComfortable navigating multiple systems during callsDependable, punctual, and able to meet performance expectations
