As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Take dietary restrictions and preferences responsibly Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain health and safety standards. Utilize kitchen equipment effectively, including knives and other cooking tools, to prepare meals efficiently. Collaborate with team to ensure all meals are prepared on time and meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of dining practices. Skills Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Understanding of dietary needs. Proficiency in meal preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members in the kitchen. A passion for fine dining and creating exceptional culinary experiences for guests. Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role is preferred Experience working in an Asian kitchen a plus but not required.
