This position is for a LabVIEW System Developer and requires the applicant to work at our Newtown Square, PA offices.ResponsibilitiesThe duties include designing, developing, and installing custom LabVIEW based applications and systems incorporating a wide variety of technologies (DAQ, machine vision, motion and real-time control, etc.) for a wide variety of industries and research foundations. Please see our website (sciotex.com) to see the wide variety of cutting-edge laboratory and industrial automation applications delivered to our many Fortune 500 customers.The candidate will undergo a PRE-EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMMING TEST.QualificationsBSEE, BSME, BS or an advanced degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or another engineering/scientific fieldMinimum of 6 months of LabVIEW code development experienceWell developed analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologiesBroad technical knowledge spanning a wide range of application areasExcellent writing, communication (English), management, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both alone and with colleaguesDiscipline and organization with respect to software development and maintenanceCLAD, CLD, or CLA is not required but is beneficialAdditional InformationCandidates must be either a U.S. citizen or already legally working in the U.S. No visa sponsorship nor relocation assistance are available for this position.
