SEO Strategist

We are hiring an SEO Strategist / Organic Growth Lead to own and execute the full SEO strategy across content, technical optimization, internal linking, backlink acquisition, and AI-driven search visibility.This is a highly hands-on role focused on both strategy and execution. You will be responsible for improving organic growth, increasing search visibility, and driving qualified traffic through SEO initiatives across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms.The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and execution-focused, with strong experience managing SEO independently from strategy through implementation. This role requires someone comfortable owning SEO as a solo function while actively writing content, optimizing pages, building backlinks, and driving measurable growth outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute the full SEO strategy end-to-end as a solo roleAnalyze organic performance and identify opportunities to improve traffic, rankings, and conversionsOptimize existing pages through content updates, on-page improvements, internal linking, and structural enhancementsIdentify underperforming content and implement optimization, consolidation, or repositioning strategiesDevelop and execute internal linking strategies across the siteSupport site structure, navigation, and SEO architecture improvementsParticipate in site restructuring or migration projects while maintaining SEO best practicesDiagnose traffic drops and identify root causes using SEO and analytics toolsWrite and publish SEO-focused content independently, including blog posts, landing pages, and service pagesConduct keyword research, content gap analysis, and search intent analysisDevelop and execute backlink building strategies, including outreach and link acquisitionBuild authority and organic visibility through scalable off-page SEO initiativesOptimize content and site structure for visibility in AI-driven search platforms and LLM-based discovery tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI OverviewsUse SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and GA4 to guide strategy and executionContinuously test, measure, and refine SEO initiatives based on performance dataProvide regular reporting on SEO performance, priorities, growth opportunities, and progressCollaborate with content and technical stakeholders while maintaining ownership of executionRequirementsResume in EnglishNative or near-native English proficiency (spoken and written)4+ years of hands-on SEO experience across both strategy and executionProven experience independently implementing SEO improvements and driving organic growthStrong experience with content optimization, internal linking, and site structure improvementsHands-on backlink building experience including outreach, link acquisition, and authority-building strategiesStrong content writing ability with experience writing SEO-focused blog and website contentExperience optimizing and updating pages directly within CMS platforms such as WordPressStrong understanding of technical SEO and on-site optimization best practicesExperience diagnosing and resolving traffic dropsProficiency with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and GA4Familiarity with optimizing for AI-driven search, AI Overviews, and LLM visibilityLegal industry experience is a plus but not required
